High bookish senior Buffy Summers (Kristy Swanson) is introduced as a stereotypical, shallow cheerleader at Hemery High School in Los Angeles. She is a daring popular object girl whose main concerns are shopping and spending era taking into consideration her affluent, snobbish connections and her boyfriend, Jeffrey.
